Queen of All

Just finished the second half of Elizabeth I. Oh so good. Terrific performances, beautiful and sumptuous. She was so powerful in a time when women were not and she held onto that power for so long. No wonder she is my favorite monarch.

And she was still able to be a woman, at least behind closed doors.

Fun Fact: The current queen of England, Elizabeth II, is related in some way to every head of state in Europe, including her husband, Prince Phillip, they are cousins.
