Stupid Facebook

I joined Facebook, only to see pictures of Weston (who at only 2 weeks old, is already holding his head up and his bottle when he's feeding, such a smartie my nephew, takes after his auntie), but I got sucked into it all and started looking for people I knew, or knew a long time ago.

They are all married, have children, are in med school and work for NASA.

I do not feel so good now.

So I have decided to change things. I have a plan:

1) Get kick ass job, or at least one that pays the bills so I can do something creative on the side.

2) Learn a language, or at least a few phrases in a couple of languages. I can get around in the French speaking countries, but I want to expand my knowledge of languages.

I may not work for NASA and be married, but I will be fulfilled.

Come keep me company....abandon all responsibilities as an adult...give up your cat and move back home. This empty nest thing is for the birds. Vesp, you can come too. I miss the pitter patter of little feet. By the way, I'm not working either. Probably doesn't sound so good to anyone but me. It plays out well in my head. MOM

Well.... my feet aren't so little, and make less of a pitter-patter, and more of a thomp-THOMP...

We should have a no work pity party :-D

Facebook can get pretty addictive. But also a main place for me to stay in touch with people at this point. And if it can inspire positivity like this then - go Facebook!
