Pollen, You Are My Bitch Lover

Ah, Spring-Time is here in the Middle. The sky is a beautiful shade of blue, the clouds are puffy and white, the birds are singing in the budding trees and the air smells like freshly cut grass (another favorite smell).

This is also the Easter and Passover season. While I do love this time of year and the holiday (the dinner, the chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies and my continuing reign as Easter Trivia Champion), there is one drawback.

I can find no respite from the deluge of pollen that has overtaken my fair burg. Even in the grocery store, Easter Lilies are on full display and I am ungodly allergic to these flowers. Lovely that they are, My nose hasn't stopped itching in 3 days. I'm miserable, I tell you, miserable. I woke up sneezing with watery eyes this morning and all my windows were shut.

It's going to be a long Spring. Thank goodness for Frebreeze Allergen Reducing Spray and Dander Wipes.

What exactly constitutes Easter trivia?

Random questions generated by various members of the family, read aloud and Hershey's Kisses are given for correct answers. The eprson with teh most kisses at the end wins teh grand prize. We used to play with cash, some say it was more fun, not me, I like the grand prize and teh chocolate.

It's going to be cash this year. I've been told that only I can come up with the questions and only one answer wil be aloud.

And we get so much more when we do it the chocolate and grand prize way. At least I do.

Reigning Champion,
Betty
