It Was a Moving Experience

I am moved. At this point, technically I have a kitchen. I have most of a bedroom too, the closet still needs to be done and I need some shelves in the laundry area. But I am moved.

I would like to thank the many people who made this move possible: Mom, Dad, Timmy, Don, Charlie and especially Mr. Amazing, who not only helped me pack up the truck and unload it but also stuck around the rest of the weekend, helped me organize, helped me take the truck back to the ghetto...at night, lifted my new air conditioner (had to get it, can't live in my room without one, damned skylights)...he also went to Wal-Mart with me... twice.

Wal-Mart is a black hole, you get lost and you don't know where anything is. It is very crowded no matter what time of day you go. It's all very frustrating.

Everyone was wonderful and I am deeply in their debt.

I also have a car load of crap to unload on M & D, it won't fit in the house, Youngest is moving soon, maybe she can use it.

I am so tired and I miss my cat. She's been at a three day sleep over at M.A.'s for the move. It was weird sleeping alone last night since the puffball has been sleeping in my bed for 1.5 years.

PS - M.A. and the parents met. They love him. I also met his mom, step dad, uncle, aunt and grandmother and apparently they like me too.

PPS - To show you the wonderfulness that is my boyfriend, he bought me the last Harry Potter book since we found it for half price at the Mart of Wals (he also went to the midnight release party with me, such a trooper, he must really like me, where I bought the book for 32 bucks, I returned that one when we found it cheaper somewhere else).

PPPS - Also, my car is fixed, over charged, but fixed.

Will catch up with you later. We will gladly take your discards for the youngest. She already has her eye on your hutch. She has visually repainted it. Yes MA is really MA. What a trooper to put up with all our wonderful friends who love you dearly and would do anything for the good girls of the world. MOM

Congratulations and best wishes on your new home. May it keep you dry, safe and cool (at least until October) :)

PS Didn't Draco use a hutch to help Death Eaters into Hogwart's ?

I haven't had a lot of time to read, I'm barely at the 200 page mark

Not sure what she will do with the hutch. The word repurpose comes up a lot. MOM

That was from the Half Blood Prince. I only remembered because I had to read the cliff notes on Wikipedia before the new one.

It's been a while M. It came out a few years ago and I can barely remember a few days ago, let alone a few years.
